Outline of the Reconnection Journey through the Tree Rings Wellness Program:

Participants involved in the Reconnection Journey through the Tree Rings Wellness Program will participate in a 3 year evaluation study led by Dr. David A. Patterson, Director of the Native American Wellness Research Centre in the University of Buffalo's School of Social Work program. The purpose of the study is to research the effectiveness of the Reconnection Journey Wellness Program from those who have been trained in the program.
The tools found in The Reconnection Journey Program are as follows:

  • The Reconnection Journey Wheel; see your unique path towards change
  • Traditional Life-skills Cards; reinforce positive experience
  • Path Journal; move forward by looking back
  • Connected, Meditation CD; imagine yourself reconnected
  • Plus, 6 hours of online training and access to our online community

Individual - ideal self-help techniques for professionals such as; Social Worker, Traditional Health Coordinators, Teachers, Counselors,Doctors.

Group - ideal for Native Friendship Centres, Family Health Teams, Hospitals, Education Programs, Shelters, Health and Social Services.

Offering services in Canada and the United States for training and cultural awareness presentations.
